Applications are now being accepted for a Casual Registered Nurse to work in Ambulatory Care. The successful applicant will be required to work days. The minimum commitment to this position is one shift per calendar year with the availability to cover vacations and sick calls as needed.

Education

  • Current Certificate of Competence with the College of Nurses
  • Current BCLS required
  • DeSouza Chemo Therapy Certification preferred

Skills and Ability

  • Experience with CVAD’s and PICC Lines
  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge and commitment to client centered care model
  • Demonstrates leadership as defined by CNO Standards
  • Crisis management skills
  • Excellent physical assessment skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as a member of a team

 

Work Experience

 

  • 2 years recent experience in Emergency medicine or medical-surgical nursing is required.
