FOR: 1 Part Time Medical Radiation Technologist
Department: Diagnostic Services

DATE: 2019 02 15 to 2019 02 22  

SALARY RANGE: Per Collective Agreement 

Background

Applications are now being accepted for 1 Part Time Medical Radiation Technologists (Mammography/CT/Radiology). This position will begin in March 2019. The successful applicant may be scheduled approximately 37.5 hours including days, evenings, staggered shifts, on-call and including weekends.

 Education

  • Must be registered with the College of Medical Radiation Technologists of Ontario 
  • Contrast Injection course required 

Experience

  • Mammography experience preferred 
  • CT experience an asset. 
  • X-Ray experience required 

Skills/Ability

  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills 
  • Ability to work collaboratively as a team member 
  • Excellent organizational skills 
  • Client focused 
  • Computer skills 
  • Able to work independently 

Other

  • Good attendance record and a level of fitness appropriate for the demands of the position required.

FOR: 1 Full Time Registered Practical Nurse
Department: Emergency

DATE: 2019 02 15 to 2019 02 22  

SALARY RANGE: Per Collective Agreement 

Background

Applications are now being accepted for 1 Full Time Registered Practical Nurse to work in Emergency. This position will begin in March 2019. The successful applicant will be required 0900-1900 including weekends and holidays. The commitment to this position is 75 hours per bi-weekly pay period.

 Education

  • Current Certificate of Competence with the College of Nurses 
  • Current BCLS required 
  • Gentle Persuasion certification required 
  • Wound care certification or OHA equivalent or will pursue within 1 year 

Experience

  • Previous experience with Geriatric clients an asset 
  • Previous experience with Medical Surgical clients an asset 

Skills and Ability

  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills 
  • Knowledge and commitment to client centered care model 
  • Demonstrates leadership as defined by CNO Standards 
  • Crisis management skills 
  • Excellent physical assessment skills 
  • Ability to work collaboratively as a team member
