JOB POSTING - Non-Union

FOR: Permanent Full Time Analyst
Department: Finance

Background 

Applications are being accepted for a Full Time Financial Analyst. The successful applicant will be required to work days with some occasional off hours and weekend hour’s contingent upon workload and reporting requirements. The Financial Analyst will work in collaboration with the Clinical Directors and the Management Team in providing financial data analysis expertise, information/data dissemination and evaluation.  This position includes the development and maintenance of systems and processes for collecting financial data, extracting and merging data from various corporate sources, tracking performance indicators, conducting analyses, preparing reports and interpreting analyses with the Managers, Directors, and Senior Leadership members.

Education/ Qualifications 

  • A Baccalaureate or Masters Degree in business, health administration or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a health care (hospital) environment preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience as an analyst preferred
  • Advanced computer skills – MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Proven ability to undertake advanced statistical analysis and interpretation of financial  and other health related data
  • Demonstrated excellence in communication and customer service
  • Good understanding of and sensitivity to health Policy environment and the ability to assess impact on hospital operations

Responsibilities

  • Assists with designing and implementing performance/quality improvement measures
  • Manages data/ financial information with required and requested reports for Ministry reporting and Corporate Indicators
  • Required analysis may include trending, impact analysis and benchmarking as requested to support utilization reporting and presentation to internal and external committees
  • Collaborates with users regarding financial data needs
  • Extracts relevant financial data to identify possible cause – effect relationships to outcomes for improvement initiatives
  • Monitors, analyzes and tracks indicators and financial data to track key indicators and conducts drill down analyses as required or requested
  • Prepares user friendly reports and utilizes feedback for improvements

FOR: Physiotherapist
Department: Rehabilitation

Background

Applications are now being accepted for Full Time & Part Time Physiotherapists.  The successful applicants will be required to work 0730-1530 Monday to Friday including some weekends.   

Education

  • Bachelor Degree or equivalent in Physiotherapy from an accredited School of Rehabilitation
  • Registration with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario 

Skills and Ability

  • Sound knowledge of Physiotherapy scope of practice with demonstrated clinical judgment, critical thinking and ability to utilize a holistic approach
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
