Our Hospital Auxiliary provides many services including portering, feeding, distributing refreshments, Cradle Pictures, Library Cart and a Gift Shop. Teen volunteers perform various functions under the direction of the Auxiliary. There are many volunteer opportunities. If you are interested call 326-2373 ext. 4148.
The Cafeteria is open 9:00 am to 1:00 pm Monday to Friday, closed weekends and holidays. The Cafeteria is located on the first floor which is through the Main Entrance off Fader Street and take the elevators up. Vending machines are located outside the cafeteria.
Counselors are available to help you, or your family, deal with a crisis situation.
Flowers, parcels and mail will be delivered to your room. Please note: Flowers are prohibited in ICU.
Interpreters are available.
The Windsor Star is available near the Gift Shop. The Leamington Post is for sale in the Gift Shop.
PAY AS YOU GO
Public Parking is available on the North and East side of the Hospital, accessible by gates off Fader and Armstrong Streets. There are also a limited number of free 15 minute parking spaces to the south east of the facility off Fader Street. There are Accessible parking spaces in both areas.
Parking fee is $5.00 per day. Monthly Parking Passes are $25 per month and are available for purchase from the Business Office with a $10 deposit, which is refunded when the card is returned.
NOTE: Emergency area, patient discharge area and handicap areas are for designated use only. All others will be ticketed and towed.
Non-Denominational services are provided for our patients each week. Other Pastoral Care services are available. Please ask your nurse for more information.
There is a $10.00 connection charge for a phone. Family and friends may call you by dialing 326-2373 + your extension from a TOUCH TONE phone or 322-2501 (ask for your extension).
To call OUTSIDE the hospital, dial ‘8’, then the telephone number. For LONG DISTANCE, dial ‘0’, and the operator will connect you to the Bell operator. Calls are charged to your home phone, calling card, or you may call collect.
Information pamphlets/order forms for television rentals are available at each nurse’s station. Personal TV’s are not permitted.
Visitors may be asked to leave a patient's room while care or treatment is in progress. In some situations, family or friends may actually become involved in patient care (bathing, walking, feeding etc.). If this is the case, please discuss this with your nurse. Visiting hours may be extended to family members participating in planning and/or providing care.
Children visiting must be monitored by the parent. Remember to respect the privacy of other patients.
Visiting Hours are from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm. ALL visitors MUST wash their hands upon entering and exiting the hospital. Small children are strongly encouraged not to visit.
